Ferrari President: "Leclerc and Hamilton should focus on driving and talk less"

Ferrari President: "Leclerc and Hamilton should focus on driving and talk less"

Ferrari President John Elkann has criticized the team following the Brazilian Grand Prix.

Speaking to Sky Sports Italy, Elkann emphasised the need for the team to reunite.

"We became world champions in both the constructors' and drivers' championships at the WEC race in Bahrain, and it was an incredible feeling. We showed that when Ferrari is united and everyone is working in the same direction, we can achieve truly great things," Elkann said.

"We were very disappointed in Brazil. Looking at Formula 1, we can say that our mechanics performed at a championship level with their pit stop performance. Our engineers have also made significant progress in developing the car. However, everything else is still not up to par."

"Our drivers also need to focus on driving and talk less."

"There are still important races ahead and second place in the championship is not impossible. They should follow the example of the WEC, where Ferrari has shown that they can only win when united," he said.
